State Lawmakers Heading Home For Long Weekend
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) - Missouri lawmakers are heading back to their districts for the long holiday weekend.
Next week, the House is scheduled to take up a measure allowing the governor to name an acting official to a vacant statewide office until an election can be held to fill the post.
