Older Greene County Workers Offered Job Training

Springfield, Mo – The Putting Experience Works Program will accept applications for free job training courses from Greene County residents who are age 50 to 62 and unemployed or underemployed on February 5, 2013, 9 am to 1 pm, at the Library Center, meeting room A, 4653 S. Campbell in Springfield.
Training will be offered in the following job categories: Building maintenance; cashier/retail services; certified nurse assistants, customer service representatives; home health and personal home care aides; and clerical services. Applicants interested in receiving training for jobs in these fields should bring a resume or work history information.
The training is made possible through The Putting Experience to Work Program, funded through the Walmart Foundation and operated in conjunction with Experience Works Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP).
