Prison Time For Investment Fraud Scheme
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - A northwest Missouri man was sentenced to 11 years in prison for stealing about $3.5 million from friends and neighbors in an investment fraud scheme
Daniel Meredith of Excelsior Springs won't be eligible for parole.
Authorities say he spent the money at casinos, on horses and for an extravagant home.
