Tighter Security At Logan-Rogersville Middle, High Schools Starts Monday
Middle and high school students at Logan-Rogersville will see some updated security when they return to class on Monday.
The buildings now have systems that control who has access, meaning visitors have to be buzzed in.
There are also cameras mounted on light poles around the campuses.
A $100,000 COPS grant through the Department of Justice paid for roughly half the cost of the upgrades.
The board voted to fast-track the security project after the deadly school shooting in Connecticut.
