Springfield Woman Charged After High-Speed Chase

A woman from Springfield who lead officers on a high speed chase through two counties has been charged with resisting arrest.
Police in Springfield say officers attempted to stop Heather Allen for suspected drunk driving near Battlefield and Glenstone.
The Springfield News-Leader reports that Christian County Sheriff's Deputies later picked up the chase and she was eventually brought to a halt after rolling over a spike strip near Highway 65 and Evans Road.
