Flu On The Rise In Springfield, Greene County

The number of flu cases inb Springfield and Greene County continues to rise.
A spokesman for the Springfield-Greene County Health Department says there were 96 cases during the last week of 2012.
So far this season, nearly 240 cases have been confirmed, but the actual number of folks who have come down with the disease is higher since the figure represents only those who have sought treatment.
The department's West side Public Health Center has vaccine for kids ages six months to 18.
