Blunt Says It's Time To Move Past the Cliff Into Debt Ceiling
Missouri Senator Roy Blunt says negotiations broke down, tempers flared and angry words were spoken and Democrats and Republicans tried to hammer out a solution to the fiscal cliff.
He says he's glad tax rates didn't roll back to 2001 levels which would have devastated the U-S economy.
He expects more angry debate and Congressional gridlock as the debt ceiling approaches at the end of February.
He says compromise will have to be the key if anything is going to get done.
