Infant Death Being Investigated In Springfield

Springfield police say there are no signs of foul play at the moment in the death of an infant found not breathing by family members early New Year's Day.
Lieutenant Shawn Williams tells KTTS News officers and EMT's were called to a house in the 2300 hundred block of North Robberson, near Turner.
The baby was pronounced dead after being taken to Cox South.
The infant was only 5-months-old.
Williams says the Greene County medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to try and determine the exact cause of death.
