Update: Three Arrested For Break-in, Assault In Taney County
The Taney County Sheriff tells KTTS News three, and possibly four people have been arrested in connection with a break-in and assault at an elderly couple's home in Ridgedale.
Sheriff Jimmie Russell says the couple was beaten and tied up inside their home, while thieves stole some guns and the couple's pickup truck.
After a short chase, the truck crashed along Carlton Road and three people ran into the woods.
The sheriff's office says Jonathan Hill, from Forsyth, along with another man and woman were taken into custody south of Branson near Highways 65 and 265.
Sheriff Russell says Hill was wanted on a parole violation for another crime. The other two suspects have not yet been identified.
The couple who got tied up is recovering from minor injuries.
