MSU Student Claims Water Balloon Caused Eye Injury
A personal injury lawsuit has been filed against MSU's Phi Delta Theta fraternity after a student says she was hit in the eye with a water balloon while the frat boys were shooting them at members of Delta Zeta Epsilon sorority.
According to the Springfield News-Leader, In court papers Emma Rapp says she was struck in the right eye by a balloon after peeking her head out of the door of the sorority house to see if the fraternity members had stopped.
She's suing for lost wages and medical expenses from the event that happened in September 2011.
