Federal Judge Blocks Missouri "Conscience" Insurance Law
(Missourinet) - A federal judge has blocked a new Missouri law requiring insurance companies to offer policies that don't include birth control coverage because it conflicts with a federal law requiring such coverage.
State law requires companies to issue those policies if it's contrary to an employer's religious or moral beliefs.
A hearing is scheduled in federal court for January 23rd.
