Some musical talent from Reeds Springs has made its way to one of the most exclusive venues in the world, The White House.

Usually known around Branson and Silver Dollar City, the Possum Holler Fiddlers,  has members from 11-20.

On December 19th they performed twice at The White House before taking a tour. They also got a chance to see the U.S Capitol and some other of DC's landmarks before returning home.

Karlene McGill and her husband Robert started the traditional fiddle group in 2008.

They contacted the White House last summer for the chance, and Karlene took a chance and put the airline tickets on her credit card when they got the invite. Their expenses were about $3,000.
