Life Term For Man From Carthage
Its life in prison for man who used young girls to make sex videos, some of the victims were taped in secret.
A Springfield federal judge has sentenced Todd Christopher Smith from Carthage.
Jasper County deputies were first called to the Smith home in September 2011 on a report that Smith had slapped a minor.
During the investigation a video showing Smith having sex with that girl was found on his cell phone, plus other videos showed that same victim and other girls in places like the bathroom.
Smith was convicted this past August of sexual exploitation of a minor in making the child porn.
