Follow Up: No One Thrown From Cars In West Springfield Crash

A crash late Friday night on Kansas Expressway near Mount Vernon had the northbound lanes blocked for a time.
Springfield Police Lieutenant Robert Pitts tells KTTS News three people were hurt in the crash, and two of them had non life-threatening injuries.
He also says officers first got an erroneous report that a person had been thrown from one of the cars.
The investigation is still ongoing.
Pitts says a PT Cruiser was headed north and pickup truck was headed south and started to make a left turn.
