Man Surrenders In Springfield Standoff

A man who Springfield police say is wanted for burglary is facing more charges after he tried to run off with some liquor from the Kum&Go at Kansas and College.
Police say he drove to a friend's home at Wabash and Mt. Vernon, where police waited for about two hours before he gave up.
The man was not armed, and nobody was hurt.
