Giving people an outlet to grieve, Drury University in Springfield held a memorial service at Drury University''s Stone Chapel Monday in honor of the women and children killed in the school shooting in Connecticut.

The keynote speaker was Dr. Karen Scott with the 'Lost and Found Grief Center'.

The name of each child killed was read aloud and prayers and songs were offered.

Scott is urging parents to limit the media exposure and gory details when it comes to your children by just turning the TV off.

She says kids will have questions about what happened at that school on the East Coast, so don't ignore their questions, make sure you give age appropriate answers.

Scott says the constant exposure doesn't allow their natural resiliance to kick in.
