Crosslines Mobile Food Pantry Is On-The-Go In Springfield

As part of an effort to address food insecurity in rural Greene County and Springfield, Crosslines will be taking the food pantry on the go to reach families in need.
The truck was made possible through a grant from the Walmart Foundation. Volunteers from the Glendale Christian Church Youth Group will be distributing at multi-family units in
Springfield. Families will be able receive enough food for approximately 3 days.
The Crosslines Mobile Food Pantry distributes in various rural locations within Greene County and Springfield.
In addition, next week is the final week of preparations for the Christmas Food Basket and Crosslines Toystore distribution. Donations are needed and welcomed to help provide 1,200 families in Greene County with Christmas food baskets and 3,200 children with Christmas gifts.

The event will begin at 1:30 at Crosslines located at 1710 East. Chestnut Expressway in Springfield.
