Springfield Doctor: Talk To Your Children About School Massacre
As the nation tries to come to grips with the Connecticut school shooting, a spokesman for the Forest Institute here in Springfield says violence is becoming more and more a part of our society.
Dr. Peter Jaberg says certainly these high-profile cases garnder a lot of attention, and here in the Ozarks what most people will be left to deal with are questions from their children and the safety of their own children.
Jaberg also tells KTTS News parents need to make sure they talk with their kids, even five and six years old in terms they can understand.
He also says parents need to talk to their kids of all ages.
