McCaskill Confident "Fiscal Cliff" Deal Can Be Reached
There are less than three weeks before the government could careen off the so-called, "fiscal cliff" of automatic tax hikes and sweeping spending cuts, as Republicans and Democrats have yet to agree on how to stop it.
Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill says despite all the posturing on both sides, she's hopeful a deal can be worked out and voted on by the end of next week.
Lawmakers have been told not to make any plans for the week after Christmas.
