Pairings Announced For 67th Annual Greenwood Blue And Gold Tournament

  • Blue And Gold Teams Were Seeded This Morning

The pairings are set for the 67th Annual Greenwood Blue and Gold Basketball Tournament, to be held December 26th-29th at JQH Arena and Hammons Student Center in Springfield.

The Nixa Eagles are the top seeded team in the Blue Division, while the Parkview Vikings are top ranked in the Gold Division.

First round games in the Blue Division will be played at Hammons Center on Wednesday, December 26th, while the Gold Division tips off day one action on the 26th at JQH Arena.

For the second year in a row, teams who lose their first round game will go into a single elimination loser's bracket.  Loser's bracket semifinal games will be played Thursday, December 27th at Hammons Center with eight games, starting at 9:30 a.m.

Quarterfinal round games in the winner's bracket take place on the 27th at JQH Arena, with a full day of action beginning at 9:30 a.m.

All semifinal games in both the winner's and consolation bracket will be played at Hammons Center on Friday, December 28th with consolation semis getting underway at 9:30 a.m. and winner's bracket semifinal matchups starting at 4 p.m.

All games in the final round will take place this year at JQH Arena on Saturday, December 29th, beginning with the consolation finals in each division (12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.), followed by the third place games in the Blue and Gold (3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.), and the championship games in the Blue and Gold (6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.)

8:00 p.m. (6) Mt. Vernon vs. Fair Grove

9:30 p.m. (3) Rogersville vs. Conway
