Walmart's plans for a fifth neighborhood market in Springfield have been given a thumbs down by the city planning and zoning commission.
The store was to have gone up at Campbell and Grand , but commission members said traffic problems along Normal Street which would have been used as an entry way into the parking lot was too much.
Walmart must now decide if it will appeal to Springfield City council.
