Thieves Stealing Hay After Missouri Drought
ST. LOUIS (AP) - Authorities say thieves are targeting hay bundles in Missouri following a year of near-record drought.
The head of the Missouri Farm Bureau says thieves are taking hay from fields, hauling it away and
selling it. To try to fight back, some farmers are putting GPS trackers inside the hay bales.
