Arson Suspected In Two Springfield House Fires

Authorities in Springfield say two house fires are being treated as arson. Police have taken a man into custody for both cases.
Damage to a home on Valley View Avenue south of Battlefield Road and another home on Valley Road north of Seminole was minor.
A woman living on Valley View was rescued after crews ran a ladder to an upper floor window.
There was no one home when crews at the second home less than a hour later.
