The Cans Film Festival food drive is one of the local community's largest annual food drives and helps re-stock The Salvation Army's Emergency Food Pantry during a time when donations are needed most. Last year, the Ozarks community donated nearly 26,000 canned food items during this single-day event.

The Cans Film Festival is part of The Salvation Army's Tree of Lights Christmas Campaign. Currently, the community has helped The Salvation Army reach approximately 25% of its $1 million Tree of Lights fundraising goal, which is about 4% less than where donations were at this time last year.
