Update: 3-Acre Brush Fire In Lampe Started In Burn Barrels
Fire officials in southern Stone County say a three-acre brush fire started in some burn barrels at a home off Broken Arrow Road in Lampe.
Flames escaped the barrels and ran up the hill, where they were fueled by winds.
Two structures were in danger of catching fire, but crews got it under control before that could happen.
