Update: Murder Chargeds Filed In Weekend Shooting At Joplin

A man is now facing 1st degree murder and armed criminal action charges after his estranged wife was shot to death over the weekend.

An autopsy shows Monica Webb, who was 36-years-old had three bullet wounds.

Also found in the home at 1314 East 15th Street was 35-year-old Rondias Webb and he was taken to the hospital with was looked like a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

He remains in stable condition.

His bond is a quarter of a million dollars.

Webb also has an outstanding warrant for domestic assault in Newton County which stemmed from an incident two months ago at 173 East 33rd Street in Joplin.
