Man From Aurora Charged With Assault/Weapon Was Bow And Arrow

The Lawrence County prosecutor has charged a man from Aurora with several felonies after another man was shot in the stomach.
Dwight Simpson will appear in court next on Nov. 29,
Police say they were called to the Bluebird Hotel and found a 37-year-old man who had been shot with an arrow.
He was airlifted to a hospital in Springfield in critical condition.
Simpson is being held under $100,000 bond.
Police say it looked like the me had been drinking when an argument broke out.
