Haz-Mat Spill Near Fort, Loren In Springfield

Haz-Mat crews are trying to figure out what spilled on the road after a crash at Fort and Loren in Springfield.
Police tell KTTS' Austin Robertson at the scene that a flat-bed truck hit a car and drove off, dropping a barrel of liquid - which spilled onto the road. Police say it has an ammonia-like smell, but they're not yet sure what it is.
Until fire crews can get it cleaned up, Fort will be shut down between Normal and Meadowmere.
