Crosslines, an agency of the Council of Churches of the Ozarks, is planning to distribute Thanksgiving Food Baskets Saturday, November 17 to  995 families (4,024 people).

Volunteers gather from a variety of churches, organizations and schools to assemble the food baskets and distribute the baskets each year.  Each “basket” contains enough food for a nutritious holiday meal (including a traditional Thanksgiving meal with turkey or ham, stuffing, cranberry sauce, corn, green beans, milk, bread and desserts), breakfast and a snack for everyone in the household.

Recipients for the food baskets pre-register for the assistance.  Families that need assistance for Christmas and that have not already  pre-registered can apply at the
Crosslines Holiday Center Monday, November 26 – Saturday, December 1.

Crosslines Holiday Center is located at 3010 E. Sunshine in the Southern Hills Shopping Center and can be contacted 417-865-5810.
