12 Arrested After Big Fight In Sikeston
SIKESTON, Mo. (AP) - A dozen residents of the southeast Missouri town of Sikeston are now facing charges for a disturbance that involved gunshots.
Officers were called Sunday to a home where a fight broke out involving several people.
Police say the fight allegedly ended when one fight participant pulled out a gun and started shooting.
No one was hurt.
The Sikeston Standard Democrat reports that 12 people were arrested Wednesday.
Eleven were charged with disorderly conduct or fighting in public, but 45-year-old Russel Lee Davis of Sikeston was charged with unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm.
He is jailed on $50,000 bond. Police suspect the fight was the result of a feud between two groups, but they aren't sure what started the feud.
