(Missourinet.)  Now that the Missouri house and senate have a GOP veto-proof majority, don't look for Governor Jay Nixon to change his approach to the way he governs.

Nixon says he will work with leaders from both parties to get the people's work done in Missouri.

Nixon says he's not concerned by the GOP margin, with two the two-thirds majority they can now override any veto without Democratic help.

Nixon says it's been his experience that partisan politics does not sit well in Missouri.

He says in talking with people on the campaign trail, he knows people don't care if you ride a donkey or an elephant to work, their concerns are about policies not politics.
