Update: Child From Sparta Killed In Tuesday Crash On Highway 14 In Christian County
The Missouri Highway Patrol says a child who was 3-years-old was killed in a crash late Tuesday afternoon in Christian County along Highway 14 at Cheyenne Road.
Kohen Clark was from Sparta.
He was riding in a car that slid across the highway and into the path of an SUV, then the SUV was rear-ended by another car.
Officials say everyone in all three vehicles live in Sparta and Clever.
5 people, including another child, 4-year-old Brayden Baker who suffered minor injuries and a baby, Rylee Baker suffered moderate injuries and were taken to Cox South in Springfield.
No one in the SUV was hurt.
A woman passenger in the car Kohen was in, Katelynn Melton suffered serious injuries, and the injuries to the other adults who were driving the car, John C. Clark and Jne L. Baker suffered moderate injuries.
