Lawmakers In Missouri Differ Over Education Funding

(Missourinet) -  The leaders of the two parties in the Missouri house are offering differing views on how they want education funding spent in 2013l

The floor leader for minority House Democrats,  Jacob Hummel says Missouri is among the states that spend the least in the nation on education.

Hummel says Missouri should follow the lead of other states led by Republican governors when it comes to education spending.

House Speaker, Republican Tim Jones says that spending more money is not the way to fix education problems.
