New Senate Leaders Being Chosen In Arkansas
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The Arkansas Senate is meeting to elect a new president and committee chairmen two days after Republicans won control of the upper chamber for the first time since Reconstruction.
The Senate plans to meet today to prepare for the legislative session that begins in January.
Senators also plan to make committee assignments and draw for seniority.
