MSU Lady Bears Lead Truman State 45-33 At The Half
Freshman Tyonna Snow has put on a show in her debut as an MSU Lady Bear, scoring 15 points in the first half as Missouri State leads Truman State 45-33 in an exhibition game at JQH Arena.
Snow, who's from Blue Springs and younger sister of Lady Bears junior Bry Snow, connected on all five shots she took in the half, and was five for six at the free throw line.
Also in double figures for Missouri State is junior Hannah Wilkerson, who has put in 12 points. Redshirt freshman Kenzie Williams has eight.
Amy Briggs leads the Bulldogs with 13 points, and is three for three from the three point line. Her team is five for six from beyond the arc, while Missouri State is two for five.
Both teams had 19 rebounds in the first half, with the Bulldogs edging the Lady Bears 13-12 in defensive boards.
The Lady Bears will play another preseason game Thursday against Southwest Baptist before opening regular season play November 13th against Oklahoma State at JQH Arena.
