Superstorm Sandy Slows Campaigns, Not Election
(Missourinet) - Power is out to millions on the east coast, but it looks like Tuesday's election will go on as planned. MU Political Science Professor Peverill Squire says it would take an act of Congress to move the date back.
He says its quite doubtful that will happen.
Squire says if the election is delayed in one region, it has to be deplayed nationally.
He says the storm has only slowed down the presidential campaigning.
