A dad, his daughter, and the family dog are all ok after waking up to smoke at their home in west Greene County.

The homeowner Stepehen Perkins tells KTTS News reporter Chase Snider at the scene that he woke up to the smell of smoke and went to grab his daughter. He saw flames in the kitchen on his way out.

They were worried the family dog might not have gotten out but they were reunited on the street.

Just moments later flames were shooting out the top of that home. Crews from Willard and several departments remain on scene just west of Farm Road 115 in the 700 block of south Quade.
