Getting Folks From Springfield In The Christmas Spirit

Number for 2012 show fewer people from the Springfield-area paid a visit to Branson.
Steve Presley with Presley's Theatre says while that number is down, more people from other areas of the country have stopped in.
He says the figures seem to balance out, which means the improving economy is having an impact on people's vacation plans.
He also says Presley's will start performing their Christmas shows next week, and staff is already getting those holiday decorations up.
Silver Dollar City also says fewer people from Springfield were seen this year, but more tourists from other regions showed up.
