Time is starting to run out if you want to cast an absentee ballot in the General Election on November 6th. Missouri Secretary of State Robin Carnahan says the last day to request a ballot by mail or fax is Wednesday, October 31st.

Voters may also cast an absentee ballot in person at their local election office until  5pm on Monday, November 6th.

Carnahan says if you'd like to get an absentee ballot by mail, you must complete an application and mail or fax it to your county clerk. Those applications must be received no later than 5pm Wednesday.

The application form and information on local election offices are online at www.GoVoteMissouri.com.

You're eligible to cast an absentee ballot if you have a legal reason to vote early, such as being out of the county on election day.
