Akin Campaigns With Long and Huckabee in Springfield

Congressman Todd Akin made a stop in Springfield Friday but it didn't come without some controversy. Protesters lined the streets in front of the University Plaza Convention Center.
Akin appeared along with other politicians including southwest Missouri Congressman Billy Long and former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee. Huckabee says he stands with Akin and its time for someone that works for the people, not outside interest.
Akin is campaigning for incumbent Senator Claire McCaskill's US Senate seat.
