Fatal Crash In Vernon County
The Highway Patrol says a semi that collided with a car that ran a stop sign was pushed off the road and crashed into a restaurant in Nevada.
54 year old Joseph Cole from Nevada who was a passenger in the car died at the scene.
Several customers inside the Quick Dine just off Highway 71 near Osage and Atlantic were hit by the truck as it went through the wall.
The driver and two other passengers in the Oldsmobile Cutlass were taken to area hospitals with moderate to serious injuries.
The truck driver was not hurt.
