Dallas County Sheriff Gives New Details In Khighla Parks Case
We're getting a more detailed look at the Khighla Parks case.
The Dallas County Sheriff's Office says it looks like the 15-year-old left her home in Willard on her own September 20th.
Parks was later seen with several people at a home in Buffalo. That's where the investigation is focused now, as detectives believe whatever happened to her, happened there.
Her body turned up ten days after she went missing. It had been weighted down in Truman Lake, but came loose and was found by boaters.
A person of interest was arrested Monday after a car chase. Anthony Balbirnie is in Greene County lockup. He has a lengthy criminal history.
The Dallas County Sheriff is asking anyone with information about Khighla's disappearance or murder to call an anonymous tip line 417-345-8207.
