More People Riding Amtrak In Missouri
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) - Missouri transportation officials say Amtrak ridership is up 74 percent in the state over the past five years.
More than 192,000 passengers rode Amtrak in Missouri during the fiscal year that ended in June.
Officials attributed some of the record ridership to higher gas prices.
