Update: One Dead In West Springfield Motel Fire

An early morning fire at the Cloud Drift Motel in west Springfield has killed a man who lived there.
Firefighters from Brookline and Willard arrived just after two this morning to find one of the units on fire and rescue workers were unable to reach him in time.
Authorities say the victim was on oxygen which helped fan the flames.
The motel is on West Sunshine near the West ByPass.
The man's name is being withheld until his family is notified.
