CU Credits Rain, Conservation For Latest Bump In Water Levels
Between recent rains and customer conservation efforts, Springfield City Utilities is reporting a bump in the water supply.
Levels have hit 70% for the first time since early summer.
The severe drought dropped supply levels to some of the lowest they've ever been, threatening to force an emergency conservation plan into action for the first time ever.
