The Fair Grove Office of Emergency Management, in partnership with the Fair Grove Fire Protection District will be closing several roads in central Fair Grove to through traffic throughout the day on Sunday, October 7th, 2012.

This measure will be to allow motion picture productions to be done by Beak Creek Productions (http://www.bearcreekproductions.com) during principle filming at the Wommack Mill located near the intersections of Main Street and Old Mill Road.

The following roads will be closed to through traffic on Sunday, October 7th, 2012:

1.    Old Mill Road at Swan Street – traffic to be detoured north along Swan Street to Cedar Street and back south along Orchard Boulevard.
2.    Old Mill Road at Main Street – traffic to be detoured to the north along Main Street to Orchard Boulevard, east to Cedar Street and then south to Swan Street.
3.    Main Street at Walnut Street – traffic to be detoured east on Walnut Street to Woodsman Street or Golden Street and back to Maple Street.

Residential and short-range commercial traffic needing into and out of these detoured areas will be allowed.  These measures are being taken at the request of production staff with Bear Creek Productions in order to lower vehicle noise volume during filming.  A map of detoured roads is available by request.
