Flu Shots In Good Supply Says Missouri Health Dept. Director
(MoNET) - The first of October is the unofficial start of the flu season since most flu cases don't peak until January or February says the Missouri health department.
Director Margaret Donnelly says this year's vaccine protects against three strains of the flu which have developed over the past three years.
She says labs are producing 135 million doses nationwide, so get that flu shot by contacting your doctor or local health department.
