Police And Fire Crews At Executive Conference Center In Springfield
When Springfield police and fire crews got to the scene of a reported fire at the Executive Conference Center on west Battlefield, they saw several things that didn't look right.
Firefighters found a window that had been broken into and a bullet hole in the wall.
Fire crews say it looks like someone burned a book used to keep a schedule of events at the center, which hosts meetings and parties for large groups of people.
Crews had to vent smoke from the room before police could get in to investigate.
