Update: All Lanes Open Following Crash On I-44 Near Glenstone
Two people have been hurt in a crash on eastbound I-44 at the 79.6 mile marker near Glenstone in Springfield. There are at least two pickups involved in the wreck.
When crews got to the scene, they found a vehicle flipped over in the median. One person was trapped, but was conscious and alert and complaining of knee pain.
Eastbound traffic was being diverted onto southbound Kansas Expressway for awhile, but as of 8:30 am, the right lane was open both east and westbound. At 9am, MODOT reported to KTTS News that both east and westbound lanes were now open.
