Murderer From Missouri Appealing Death Sentence
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) - Lawyers for a northwest Missouri man are set to argue before the state supreme court today as they try to appeal his murder conviction for a neighbor's 1990 death.
Mark Woodworth has been convicted twice in the case and his lawyers say he should have yet a third trial.
He was 16 years old when Cathy Robertson was shot while sleeping in her rural home near Chillicothe.
